11. ILLINOIS

1 Illinois NCLEX Application – Nursing Step 1: Applying with the Illinois State Board (IDFPR) Illinois NCLEX Application: Continental Testing Services contracts with the state of Illinois to handle licensure applications in Illinois. All Illinois licensure applications go through them. Start Here: IDFPR Nursing web page. Expand the area called “Licensee Application Forms” and find your form. Follow the instructions. It will involve going to the Continental Testing Services website and doing your online application there

12. IOWA

2 IOWA NCLEX Application – Nursing Step 1: Applying with the Iowa Board of Nursing Iowa NCLEX Application – Nursing Step 1: Applying with the Iowa State Board of Nursing (IBON) Iowa NCLEX Application: Iowa offers a paper application as well as an online application. This guide will walk you through the online application process from start to finish. Here is the IBON Initial Licensure page. We encourage you to read the content there. IBON Contact Information:

  1. Go to the IBON Online Services webpage.
  2. Click on the link titled “License Examination.” You will need to create or log in to an account. Then complete the application.
  3. International Students: Instructions for those educated or endorsed from foreign schools.
They will charge you $143. This fee includes this application and the charges for the Criminal Background Check and Fingerprinting (more on those later). Click the link and apply!

13. KANSAS

Kansas NCLEX Application – Nursing Step 1: Applying with the Kansas Board of Nursing Kansas NCLEX Application: This link takes you to the Kansas Board of Nursing Home. You can refer to this website, if needed, for more details. Start Here: Go to the Applicant Forms Page and choose the appropriate application form for you. Follow all instructions closely. They will charge you a State Board Fee of $110. Then move on to the next step to register with Pearson Vue

15. LOUISIANA

This is the Maine State Board of Nursing website. All information here is taken from that source. Start Here: Go to the Forms and Applications page and choose the RN/LPN Application by Examination.
